The 2016 Attractions Dining and Value Guides are now for sale at Sav-R-Cats! This is one of our most popular fundraisers of the year. Books are only $20 each and many people like to buy one for themselves and another (or more!) as a gift for a friend. These books are so valuable and they don’t expire until the end of 2016. These are not just any coupons — these coupons are mostly for “buy one get one free” deals and other great savings that you won’t find anywhere else! Come on by and get yours today!
Can Collection
We are collecting cans at the adoption center as an ongoing fundraiser. Drop off your clean tin or aluminum cans at any time!
We just ask that you separate the tin from the aluminum and remove any labels. We greatly appreciate it!

June 6 Fundraiser
We will be hosting a fundraiser on June 6 beginning at 12:30 p.m. at Boston Pizza Plus. The cost is $12.50 per person and includes salad or garlic bread and your choice of lasagna, spaghetti and meatballs, or eggplant Parmesan with a dessert and soft drink.
There will also be a silent auction, 50/50 and more!

Art Show
One of our volunteers, Karen Preston, has an award-winning quilt on display at this show, going on now! It was even used on the flyer for the event. Be sure to check it out if you get a chance!
Adoptathon at Wags & Whiskers
Out of our LOVE for the kitties, SAV-R-CATS has stepped up and rescued over 20 cats from an apartment. Their caregiver had passed away and one of our volunteers graciously took them into a facility of her own until they are all checked out by the veterinarian (physical examinations, testing, vaccinations). So now on April 4th, 5th and 6th, the kitties are going up for an adoptathon at Wags & Whiskers, located at 710 5th Ave South, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582, phone number 843/280-7686. (Hours on Friday, April 4th and Saturday, April 5th are 10 am – 5 pm and Sunday, April 6th from 11 am – 3 pm).
POC for SAV-R-CATS is Donna Sprague at 843/333-5704.
Adoption fee is “ONLY” $25.00. About 15 to 20 cats will be there, and their ages are 2 to 10 yrs old “SAV-R-CATS WHERE OUR CATS ADOPT YOU.”

We are once again competing in the online contest called the Shelter Challenge! Recently we won pet beds from this contest because you voted for us! Now, we are in the runnings once again.
